Love others. Do good. Act now.

How often do we walk past someone less fortunate than us on the street, or hear about countries in the grip of material and spiritual poverty and do nothing about it? There is so much need in the world. How can we possibly help?

Obviously, each one of us can’t do much on our own. But together as a generation, in response to Jesus’ gracious love, we can impact the lives of many people for his glory.

2011 support update

Through a series of interactive displays on specific projects, it was our aim to help you better understand the spiritual and physical needs of our world and see how you can make a real difference at NTE.

By God's grace, we reached (or exceeded) most of our goals at the conference. Thank you for your generosity!

• Our goal was to RESOURCE campus work in Zimbabwe for 6 months – and we have done it for 13 months!*
• Our goal was to SUPPORT the ministry training of Brane with AFES for a year – and we have hit 4 months! (But you can keep giving on his Act Now page or with the supporter cards given out at NTE)
• Our goal was to ENCOURAGE students throughout the world by writing letters to the other 156 IFES student movements – we have written to everyone at least once!
• Our goal was to TRANSLATE 156 verses of Daniel into Pitjantjatjara – we have paid for 146 verses, which is first 4 ½ chapters of Daniel! (Chapter 1 was translated at NTE!)
• Our goal was to PROVIDE 180 school packs for orphans affected by HIV and AIDS in Malawi – and we have provided 173 packs!
• Our goal was to CARE for disadvantaged teens in Canberra by giving Christmas gifts their parents couldn’t afford – we gave 211 gifts (with one person alone bringing in 22 gifts!)

* The last couple months of support were donated by Wild Street Church (an NTE mission host church).
